As a part of our team, you will work towards maintaining the housekeeping high standards of cleanliness. We will provide you with all the necessary housekeeping supplies, tools and a cart to perform your duties effectively.
Housekeeping Attendant – Job Description
As our Housekeeping attendant, you have a chance to make an impression on every single guest who stays with us. We have been recognized by TripAdvisor for maintaining the highest cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards in the Mississauga extended stay lodging industry. Our Housekeeping attendant plays a key role in ensuring we continue to be recognized for our cleanliness standards.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job duties include but not limited to the following:
· Clean fully furnished one and two bedroom suites per week
· Clean assigned suites including: dusting, making beds, dirty linen laundry in the suites, bathroom(s) cleaning, Kitchen cleaning, window
cleaning, supplies replenish, floor vacuuming and mopping.
· Remove trash and recyclables from the suites
· Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart
· Delivery of guest items from housekeeping room to the suites
· Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
· Report all lost and found articles in the suites
· Report necessary maintenance issues or concerns
· Completing ongoing duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Physically fit with high energy level
· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
· Able to understand English language, both orally and written
· Speak English language clearly in order to communicate with guests and colleagues
· Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays as required
